How long does the interferon and ribavirin stay in the system after treatment ends?

"The levels gradually come down to zero over time. It is a few weeks with interferon and a few months with ribavirin."
The interferon half life is much less than the ribavirin. Within 3 months the ribarvirin is almost completely out of the body but guidelines recommend women who have treated do not become pregnant until six months post treatment.
Interferon leaves the body much quicker, usually within a month. Not to say you won't experince some residual effects know as interferon hangover.
