Thanks. I always get weird after shots, even the shot at the dentist gets me drowsy. Am usually able to drive though. Well, it wont be a problem, as I just sold my car. I have been so fatigued and brain fogged for the past 3 months, that I do not trust myself driving anymore. And I don't wanna pay rd taxes etc, for my car standing in the street. So I get my husband to drive me, take a cab or I take the bus or the metro. Copenhagen is small and it takes no time with public transportation. And they are on schedule. It's great. It's weird though, I haven't been without a car since the early 90ies.

My doctor recommended both. I had both and only felt weird for a short time. I can't remember if it was the A or B injections but one of them made me pretty queezy for a while. To be sure, maybe you should have a driver with you. Driving Miss Marcia22022...

Saving on fuel by driving 10 miles under the speed limit
LOL @ FlGuy. Like reciting to tx: "how do I love thee, let me count the ways."
So true! I love it!!!
Whenever I see your name i read it as FlyGuy. Cool, innit?

See, there are good things about having and treating hepatitis C. Let's see:
Saving money on vaccinations
Fewer haircuts, saving money
Not worrying about dieting
Catching up on TV watching
Read the same book over and over and the ending is always a surprise
Nothing special to do for Halloween make-up
Can ignore big things in your life
Get to build those pet peeves into real issues
Lotsa stuff. Appreciate your disease.
Btw, all the other family members have started on the combi shots. The Danish health care system gives them free to people with hep c and their immediate family. It would have cost me a whole lot of money to get 6 ppl vaccinated.
Thanks for the info.
I had my 2 Hep A shots years ago. I took the double shot, as it lasts for 20 - 25 years. Had B shot 1 in April and B shot 2 in May. Need to get B shot 3 in October. I will hopefully start tx in July. My daughter had her first A+B combi shot in May, will get 2nd in June and the last 5 months later. And she will hopefully also have started txing before that.
My GP wasn't sure, if I could have the last shot on tx and asked me to talk to the hepatologist. That's why I was asking.
Thanks again, Marcia

i had to have them also..one is a single shot, the other is a series of 3. but you should get them.
Mine was beyond insistent as well. I also had a flu shot and a pneumonia shot at the same time.
From now on...you are going to want to get them yearly (since you have a chronic disease).
I had them on tx. Doc was way beyond insistent that I do so.
