hep c

Hi I have hep c.I use 2 shoot up meth.I went 2 prison.They did a phsical on me and found  out that i have hep c.I got out in Nov.05.I havent had a blood count or any medical attention since then.I am a firm believer in god now and need medical services.I dont have insurance and a wife and 3 kids.The hep c is taking its toll on me.Please help.

both pharmaceutical companies have programs for people who can't afford the meds.  Maybe someone here can post the numbers for you.

There is a hepatology group in Houston, "Liver Specialists of Texas."  They are at Saint Lukes Hospital and have a research group that conducts clinical trials on new hep-c meds used in conjunction with the standard combo therapy (interferon and ribaviren).  As part of the trial, your meds and doc visists are free.

There are hepatology groups or individual hepatologists nationwide who are involved in these same clinical trials.  Get on the phone and start calling in order to find a trial close to your location.
