information on free trials/ janis page?

It's been a long time. Lost alot of memory from tx. treated in 2007 thru 2008. Had a rough time. seen some names I remember. I'm in what you call in remission. I got lucky. Now I have a friend in trouble with no insurance.  I want to help. 1st I'd like to find that janis hep7/ what ever can't remember. plz help me. Also how to find free trials in the chicago area and requirements.
I tried to tell him you need a biopsy immeadiatly. I can't believe his dr. is letting this go because of insurance. He's already been in the hospital and I had to pull him aside and confront him of his illness. I knew he had Hepc! He's jaudice and I'm worried for him and want to help.

There are a few trials going on in in Texas right now.  We are actually studying that in school, and I was looking them up.  For whatever area you are in, check ClinicalTrials.gov, type in the disease, and the area.  There will be a list of trials that are ongoing, done, and ones looking for volunteers.  Good luck to both you and your friend.

Hi, you can find the information you are looking for at J&F New site.
Except the site is no longer called Janis and Friends. I have started a new
blog called " New HCV Drugs and Liver Health"

http://hepatitiscnewdrugs.blogspot.com

I am the founder of Janis and Friends Web Site along with, (Janis), and I was
the sites webmaster.
The format I am using this time around is a blog, it has been easier to keep
it updated, I am also in the process of adding basic HCV info daily.

Over the years I have frequented these message boards and have added a link to them on the blog.
(The boards are great)

On the sidebar of the blog you will find what you're looking for.

Look For:
Trials and Financial Help
Financial Assistance-HCV Drugs
HCV New Drug Pipeline
ClinicalTrials.gov
Centerwatch

The blog eventually will have most of what I had on J&F site, but it will be more up to date.
I miss the website also, It was a sad day when I took it down.

Here is a link to Financial Assistance

Thank you
