insurance, or lack of

anyone else have the misfortune to not have health insurance?...I have not been tested (levels) for a couple years now, and I am curious...anyone know the cost of just a lab scan?...
I am losing ground...hoping for better...and at this point...not sure if I care...(yes, I do...I have a teenage daughter)

any ideas?

Some of us are trying to get into this trial.  I see they have a study site at Madison.

Not sure what state you are in but you might be able to get state help, in CO it is called CICP (colorado indigent care program) and clinic visit is 7 dollars, labs 5 dollars. As for treatment if you live in a metropolitan area you could probally find a clinical trial if not you can still apply for free drugs from the drug companies if uninsured and make less than 46  thousand a year or you might be able to get medicaid since you have children living at home.
