Vertex pays for any Rx's (excluding rescue drugs) they prescribe along with all study drugs and labs. I am on Celexa and Ambien CR. They don't pay for participation, but do pay for parking at the hospital.
I'm not getting paid. Which is really too bad because I have to pay $50 for the train there and back. :( (OTOH the meds are free so I'm not having to come up with a copay.)
you get paid too...GET OUT OF HERE
Some trials sites are paying people in the trial, where i am being tx pays be 65.00 per visit. I would do it with out the money but i sure don't turn it down either
and your odds of getting the real drugs are 80%....and even if you dont get the real drugs...at week 12...they give them to you anyway...a no brainer if you ask me..and free resue drugs to boot....do i sounD like a saleman?....LOL
looks like you are good to go then...when do you start....it is a good trial...i think so anyway
I am active military with good insurance, thanks for info
thats if the company you work for has insurance and you are covered
if you need recue drugs for low white counts...insurance usually covers that cost..its standard with most insurance companies here in Canada
The BOC trials pay for the rescue drugs that raise your red blood counts...but not the whites...now thats in my BOC trial..the non responder arm...thats all they cover..the costs of the all the tx drugs and the epogen..or so called procit
The trial covers all trial meds they provide. What they won't cover is things like AD's and such if you need them.
