hey, hang in there...I deal with a compulsive/obssessive personality, along with depression issues...we can usually have a little of one thing, a little of the other too...with c/o personalities, we don't wash our hands constantly, etc that's obssesive/compulsive 'disorder'..with me it's more about perfectionism and procrastination, researching everything to the inth degree to make sure everything's perfect, then not being able to make up your mind, ha ha! but I'm working on it...I'm glad you made the move and are doing considerably well...
Glad to hear your having success in your tx. Although I wasn't on an AD med prior to tx my doc thought in my case a AD med would be a safe thing to do. I take wellbutrin and have had no depression while on tx, but I did experience a one day bout of anxiety that almost flipped my lid. I was ready to go to the ER. I waited till the next day and saw my doc, by then it passed. Good luck, best wishes and continued success!!! Keep killin' those little critters!!! Pauly
I have a history of depression. I did take zoloft for depression a few years back. i did have some side effects from it before.
Great news about still being non-detectible! I also lost close to 30 pounds by week 13 and fortunately the weight loss leveled off at that point. Hopefully the same will happen with you.
As to the paranoia, I believe both Zoloft and Wellbutrin list paranoia as side effects. Have no idea if your pre-tx or tx sides suggested an AD, or if you just took one prophylactively. But certainly something to discuss with whoever is managing your Wellbutrin.
My experience with Wellbutrin only lasted a couple of days and it made me very anxious. Others report good results after giving it more time for the system to adjust.
Be well.
