Co is correct on when taking the synthroid . best first thing in the morning with lots of water at least  an hour to and hour and a half before eating or drinking anything else for max. absorption.

There  is a natural "synthroid product"(name escapes me at the moment ) however most doctors are not aware of this.so you may want to see an endocronologist if you are not already

Hey Co...good to see you...

It is recommended that if one thyroid medication doesn't work it be changed to a different product.  Ask your doctor.  Also, make sure you are not taking it at the same as another medication that can affect the absorption of the thyroid med.
