There have been a lot of recent posts about the new treatments and by those going through them.

Other than trials the two new  important one approved late last year by the FDA are Sovaldi brand name (Sofosbuvir generic name) and Olysio brand (simeprevir generic) They are not available in the US as a generic.
Depending on your genotype, treatment naive or nonresponder from prior tx and your current condition will indicate the most appropriate treatment.
Treatment can only recommended and prescribed by an medical professional experienced in hepatitis C liver disease and treatment

HCV abbreviation for Hepatitis C Virus
SVR sustained virological response achieved when the HCV virus is undetected by blood test taken at a specified time after treatment completion.most consider it means cured.
