I'm actually looking forward to my 2nd biopsy sometime before the end of the year. It will provide crucial information regarding how long I can wait. The first biopsy was painless and the the worrying before was much to do about nothing. I was a little sore for a couple of days afterwards and that was it.
I don't get it when people say they were traumatized from biopsy.

I'm too chicken to see any of it - even to get to all the cool guys. I might try it later if I can suck it up...maybe after a couple cups of coffee I'll be so wired I won't care!!! thanks for telling me DJ!
If you click on the casket video (close you eyes) on the right there's a whole list of videos from the Expendables. That will make you smile all day.
i truely had a painless biopsy. my doctor gave me the amnesthia drug , i did not see or remember any thing. the hardest part for me was laying on the sand bags for hrs, i have a bad back, i would not hesitate to get another one! although the first doctor i went to wanted me awake, forget that, make sure you talk to your doctor, if he can give you something stronger than a local! unless you can bite the bullet, ha! ha!
Just don't look at the needle and you will be fine. It's very very few and far between when someone talks about pain from the procedure and in most cases........it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

I'm a chicken and I was just fine. You just CANT feel anything because there are just NO nerves in there to make you feel anything. It's not a pleasant experience because you are so sure it is going to hurt and people HAD to be lying but then you go oh it's 'over that was it in less than two minutes.
(I am so totally NOT watching the casket video holy God thinking about it now that hurts me!)
I was surprised at the size of the needle too. The person getting biopsied seemed pretty unaffected.
Thanks for the info, that was a huge needle but you don't really feel it?
I saw on the right hand side there was a video for the "human decomposition of a body in a casket" The poor person in that casket will never know he had his 15 minutes of fame.
