please respond if you know about hvc

i had hvc test and my value is 0.1. standard range is 0.0-0.9 s/co ratio. it means that i have hepatitis c.

The negative range is 0.0-0.9

Your result 0.1  is between those values meaning your result is negative and you do NOT have hepatitis C

If your result was above 0.9 that would be a positive test result for hepatitis C antibodies and you would then need a second test called the HCV RNA by PCR test that looks for the actual virus to see if you are currently infected.

But as your Hep C antibody test was negative no additional testing would be needed.

This is assuming you waited at least 12 weeks after a concerning exposure where hepatitis c blood could have entered your blood stream. For example sharing IV drug needles with someone infected with hepatitis C or engaging in rough sexual practices like BDSM or blood sports where there is a risk of hep c infected blood entering your blood stream.
