ME AND MY WIFES SYMPTOMS
I been having night sweats not sleeping well at all taking anxiety meds to help me sleep sweaty palms and not really hungry.

MY WIFE is been itching for about 2 weeks now mainly her head, feet,& eyes also her back, but, vagina, and legs (she also has something under one of her toes idk if its a blister from her heels or syphilis)
THIS IS WHAT SCARES ME!!

MY QUESTIONS ARE
1, if I tested negative for everything besides the HSV1 (positive) could I have gave my wife anything from my exposure to her in-between my 7 week test that came negative?
2. my doctor said I could have had the hsv1 before I took my test so idk what to do ( I feel like I gave my wife the hsv1 and that's why shes itchy and does she or I need treatment)?
3. how conclusive is my results so far for syphilis, hiv, hep a,b,c?
4. do the test change usually from 6-12 weeks?
5. when is my test results 100% conclusive for syphilis hiv and hepatitis?
(I KNOW FOR HSV2 COULD TAKE A WHILE)
6.when is the latest anyone reported an outbreak of herpes hsv2 after exposure?
7. AND MAINLY WHEN CAN I MOVE ON?????????????

PLEASE SOME ANSWERS
AGAIN THANK YOU

Lynn, hep B is mainly a sexually transmitted disease. It is the most common way people become infected.

Hep B is a sexually transmitted disease. Hep C is not considered a sexually transmitted disease because hepatitis C is not found in infectious amounts in sexual body fluids. Blood must be exchanged. So rough sex or anything else that causes bleeding makes it possible for hep C to come from unprotected sex.

PS Hep B and Hep C are both blood borne so their blood would have entered your blood stream

This is the hepatitis c community we are just patients. You could try asking in the Herpes community or better yet your doctor.

2. my doctor said I could have had the hsv1 before I took my test so idk what to do ( I feel like I gave my wife the hsv1 and that's why shes itchy and does she or I need treatment)?

See above answer try http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Herpes/show/195

3. how conclusive is my results so far for syphilis, hiv, hep a,b,c?

We are hep c patients not doctors as you were answered above by Surfside gal about hep c the test for antibodies is conclusive for hep c after 6 months. As to the others try the other communities related to those topics or best choice your doctor.

His questions had nothing to do with the incidence or prevalence of hepatitis C or any of the other infections he mentioned.

All the comments you got are real.

He possibly mentioned the race of the individual because the incidence and infection rate of HIV and all other STD's are higher among American blacks than any other race.

This is a hepatitis C discussion forum. I doubt anyone can answer your other questions adequately. You need a hepatitis C test 6 months post exposure.

And why did you find it necessary to mention the race of the girl on the street?
