post treatment

just finshed treatment 16 weeks ago.12 weeks lab results showed that virus was not detected.i have been virus free since the first month of treatment.should i still be concern about virus returning.i,am 61 years old and supect that i have had hep c for atleast 40 years.this is my 2nd time in treatment.the first time i relasped 2 months after i finshed treatment.

Read the response to the first question. You will see that if UND at 12 weeks post end of treatment, we have 99.7% chance for SVR.

When you say 12 week lab, if you are referring to the lab drawn 12 weeks AFTER end of treatment, and it is Undetectable, then you have a 99.7% chance at attaining SVR. Those are excellent odds.

You have joined a few others here, UND at 12 weeks post end of treatment, and we are all waiting patiently for the 24 week post end of treatment labs. But we all have a 99.7% chance at SVR because we were UND at 12 weeks post end of treatment.
