week 30 for me. but only 12 to go?! that's the best! i totally believe you can do this!
FWIW,
The first 36 weeks were a cakewalk compared to the last 36. (I did 72 weeks).
It definitely gets worse the longer you're on TX.
I think it's the cumulative affect of the drugs. Hang in there. Hearing you're SVR makes the misery worth it.
good point epiphiny. I still need to know my limitations and not push myself so hard, even though I only have 12 more to go...I am just so ready to be normal.
The weeks around 36 were pretty hard for me, that 3rd quarter for some reason was interminably long and difficult. We forget the meds are still building in our system and we are becoming more tired and less resilient. I think I had the idea that I would reach a point and level out but if you compare it to running a marathon, there are easy stretches and tough stretches as our body has more and more demanded of it. I also found I kept trying to do life as if I wasn't on any medication and forgot to rest and drink enough water and generally take it easy. Being under par for this amount of time just doesn't seem natural
Just keep on keeping on, I promise you will rise again, like the phoenix!
Ok....that reminds me of this....the brain fog is getting sooooo thick. I swear, sometimes I wonder if I will ever think the same again. When I get tired....it's like my brain is made of jelly.
Lights are on, but nobody is home, lol!
You and me both, Isobella!
You and me both, Isobella!
I don't feel any more tired or anything....just sore as heck. I am even back to the midnight furniture moving....and cleaning out closets and cooking. Like the speed demon I was during the first 12 weeks.
Maybe that's why I am so sore. I don't know, but I have been seriously having to take tylenol or ibuprofen every day. Even my elbows hurt.
Yup.....I'm about ready to be done with this thing.
In my experience, the bad stuff comes and goes with little pattern. I'll be doing relatively well and think I've established a new baseline, then I have a set back. I know it's frustrating.
That countdown is a killer, isn't it? Hope things get a little easier soon.
maybe its because we are weaker.
I'm with you. Doing #37 tomorrow and I am still sore from #36. My arms and legs feel like I have lifted too much weight ( and I haven't worked out all week) and my neck and shoulders are actually sore to the touch.
We are almost to single digit countdown time....and it can't come soon enough. Until then....tylenol and a massage or 2.
Hang in there.
