You may be one of those that breeze through it. What geno-type are you, and how long do you have to TX? Make sure that your doc watches your blood levels, get a sensitive PCR at 4 weeks and get copies of all test results.
I am also from MA and finished TX in July. I will get my 6 mo post PCR in January.
Good luck with your TX.

Everyone who goes on TX does not have equally bad SX.  I think that those of us who DO just tend to whine more (with good reason).  *LOL*

I started TX Xmas Eve of 2006.  I was a music teacher and was hoping to take advantage of the 2 week recess to see how the meds affected me.  In my case, it was difficult and I had to go out on FLMA.

Best of luck with Treatment,

Good luck to you in your treatment journey.  I'm on  my second round of treatment.

I had hypothyroidism before I started round 1 and was on 25mcg of syntrhoid.  By the time I came off treatment I was up to 100mcg of synthroid.  Just make sure your docs keep good tabs on your blood labs throughout treatment.  My TSH was done every month as was my sugrar levels.  Follow a proper diet as closely as you can while on treatment.  It's important as full blown diabetes is a reason to stop treatment.   Make sure you get plenty of rest.
