storage of pegasys

what should i do if pegasys injection remains outside the fridge for 18 hrs?should i use it or not?

I just can't see how anybody could let a medication that important and that expensive sit out for 18 hours in the first place.  Dont play with fire make sure those meds are IN the FRIDGE all of the TIME.

I agree.  Best to call the specialty pharmacy to discuss.  It could depend on what temperature it was exposed to.  For example, if left in a hot car in Florida, it could easily go over 100, as opposed to room temperatures in the upper 60's.  Was this more than one injection?  They might be willing to replace them for you.

How should I store PEGASYS?
 Store PEGASYS prefilled syringes in a refrigerator, at 36F to 46F (2C to 8C). Do not leave PEGASYS
out of the refrigerator for more than 24 hours.

You should be alright it can be stored at room temp for up to 24 hrs but you may want to call the pharmacy just to be sure it is ok
