symptoms of Hep C

I'm new to this board. I recently tested positive for antibodies to Hep C, my s/co ratio was greater than 11.0. Im not sure what that means, but I need to have a Viral Load done. I'm not sure how long that takes to come back???
Also- I have strange symptoms, aside from the excessive fatigue, I'm dealing with numbness/ pins and needles/ burning sensation in my feet when I walk. As well as joint and bone pain. I had a UTI, antibiotics seemed to help but now my urine's dark again !!! Does anyone know if these are symptoms of Hep C ?? My doctor is very unsupportive, esp re: this devastating news. He even had the nerve to yell at me for seeing him too frequently. Where am I supposed to go when I'm sick? He yelled at me to go online, frustrating !!!

Definitely go get the viral load test to see what you're dealing with.  I'm not a doctor but dark urine usually means you're not drinking enough water.  No sodas.  Drink as much water as you can.  Your liver and kidneys will thank you.  Until you gt the viral load test, no one can tell you if you have HCV.  And those symptoms could be from a lot of different things.  If you're not happy with your doc,. go find another.
