After reading several threads in this forum about the importance of Vitamin D I decided to have mine checked.
My initial Vitamin D3 levels taken on 8/04/2011:
Vitamin D, 25-OH, Total 30 ng/mL (Range 30-100) Borderline Deficient
Began taking 5,000 IU/day
Follow up Vitamin D3 levels taken on 11/28/2011:
Vitamin D, 25-OH, Total 48 ng/mL (Range 30-100)
Following are a few articles showing the potential benefits of Vitamin D:

just to clarify, i was only speaking about being on a clinical trial.
if you're not on a trial, then i would say at the very least:
multivitamin without iron
extra vitamin c
fish oil
peace
My Doc said a regular muti vitamin
I take a stress B vitamin, Vit. D, Vit. A (betacarotene type only), Vit. E, omega 3-6-9, and calcium. I have taken these for years and both my MD and the specialty pharmacist said they were okay for me. However, I do not have cirrhosis or any other health issues that would make taking the vitamins a contraindication.
I agree with the above, clear all meds (prescription and over the counter), supplements, vitaminsm etc. with your MD. You may be able to take them but you may have health issues and your MD may notn want you to take them.
my study and rescue study said no vitamins of any kind.
peace
But, the best thing to do is ask your doctor.
I don't know your health issues.
