I am on effexor 225 mg. Have gained around 30 lbs. I weigh 145. I am trying to get back to 125. My husband doesn't have hep C but he started taking Lexapro and he gained alot of weight. It seems like they all cause some weight gain.

I lost weight before I started the AD, due to less appetite and just being tired.  In fact, some of the AD's, like Celexa, can cause weight gain.

My husband is almost done with 8 weeks of likely triple therapy (in a clinical trial) and has lost about 5 pounds, while eating very well.  He is not on AD's.
