i have just been diagnosed with hep c and think i am going to be able to take the combination treatment (shot and a pill) and have been told that it is going to make me sicker than i've probably ever been.  But i'll do whatever it takes.  I would love to read the article titled Survivng HepC, how do i find it?  I am not a computer person, so this is new to me but I thinkI will learn fast.

I also had chills, extremely bad.  I live in the desert where it would get to 120, and still had to wear a heavy sweater or coat.  This past winter was pure hell but now, after completing treatment, no more chills. The cool air feels rather nice.  Itching was not something I felt, at least not from the meds.  Yesterday I posted an article in this forum, titled "Surviving HepC, describing my past year.  Maybe you might recognize some of you side effects and possibly answer some of your questions.

Hang in there, it is so well worth it in the end.  Best of luck.

There are so many possible symptoms for Hep c it isn't funny. I had chills, but not itchiness, but that doesn't mean you won't. Google HCV Advocate... or is it Hep C Advocate? My brain isn't working very well today... which is another symptom. Anyhow, they have lots of info about possible symptoms on their site.

Hope that helps

Could be.

I used to have itchiness and was always cold. Strangely enough both went away after treatment. I cannot explain why.
