Your military is by far and exceptional group of people.
I love Newfoundland...im thinking of going back home and say ti hell with this rat race....after TX of course
I meant to say in the WW 2 is when the % of canadians were high for newfies...this new war on terror is mixed from all provinces.
They were all nice men and women, Rocker I know, a lot of us grew up learning to earn our way, strong families and great work ethics.
For sure, port most military communities are like that.
I grem up with no running water and had to go outside to use the out house...my poor ole mom had to wash clothes with a scrub board by hand and my dad worked by digging a ditch...he managed to raise 6 of us...and talk about cold

Hardy people, Newfoundlanders, and face adversity together as a community more than most. And the Newfoundland military families even more so.
They could teach lots of people about pulling together to face hardship, tragedy or victory.
And most of them are from my home...Newfoundland
Canada has an outstanding military, There are large squadrons in Germany a long with English.
Heart goes out to them.
