4 WEEK POST PCR - negative

As my friends know here, I've been off tx since March 14th and totally off everything ('cept vits and healthy food). Went off 'extra' drugs (Mar 28th) cold turkey that the doc had placed me on the last two months of treatment. Started feeling better last week about this time and am here to tell ya, feeling better each week.  Yep, not one hundred percent but so relieved at my progress lol!   Been out of the house this week too!  (ha ha)... started with a personal trainer in a local gym - goal is to build strength and return to my pre-tx endurance status!!  Another person in town completing near the same has start the fitness program with me- so even better with a buddy system.  Returning to work mid May... soooooo still have plenty of time to bounce back more!!!  Just got the word that I'm clear from a 4 wk post pcr taken last week... hear that bodes well for me! YIPPEE!!!   As I said in my profile last year **HCV does not own me nor define me** and I'm one that hates ruts, (just my take...)so... determined to move back into my life where I left off prior diagnosis.  All the best to you each of ya.  Sorry I was feeling to puny to be here much my last cupla months of Tx...  Thank you for the encouragements...

You all are in my thoughts and hoping we all reach SVR and freedom from this disease... Will be back to let you know the results of six months PCR.  (Office does a 12 wk post pcr too.. and I said, 'Nah' ... and decided not to got there in my mind until 6 months... sooooo... put a tickler reminder for 6 months)... Didn't plan or think I'd do as many weeks as I did... but completed 48 .. if I did, anyone can - I was the biggest weanie..lol!  Be back in Sept with the 6 mo pcr... Lots of good thoughts and best wishes!!!

hey wassup... thanks so much, I've always loved your optimism!!

teevee... IT HAS BEEN ANOTHER WEEK! and it makes the difference.  When ya start working out ... lots of times they will give you a few sessions with a trainer and there after you can buy session, every gym is different.  I told my trainer EVERYTHING!  The tx I had been on, the lack of activity... so they know how to ease you in and strengthen you up.  Your last shot is coming up FAST!!!!! and so glad... I felt after tx I was gonna feel bad forever, it was depressing SO give yourself time!!! I'm feeling better weekly and a total relief... so give yourself time ...just my take

(((Scotty))) Yea!!! Yep you're almost there and you've got my prayers in reaching your goal of SVR... knowing how hard you've worked for this thing this second time around.. Takes time to recoup too.  I'm starting back to work mid May...and really feeling like I could today... but enjoying this time in getting stronger ...you're in my thoughts Scotty.... Libby

Hey sweetie, I'm soooo happy for you. Now that you have, (as they say), slayed the dragon, I'll be prayin' that that sucker stays slain.  You may not even check this for six months, but if you don't see it til then then I'll say congrats on 6 mo. UND, in advance!!!  I'm hopelessly optomistic.  Hugs to you.  Hip Hip Hoorah Or should that be Bye Hep Hoorah?  Ant B
