if one reads these forums closely it dont take long to realize that this group of people,on tx,all of us are nuttier than fruitcakes from the meds.we tend to wax a tad philosophical.need more humor on here.

youre another straight talker...howza about, he comes on here and gets into it with me, comparitively speaking, not too bad...then a newbie is told that he has done this before with me, that's why I might be leery...and she right away goes to him and says, youre wonderful! I love all your comments! If you ever get banned again, there should be an uproar! ha ha ha! It's all good...

At this point, I'm just trying to have a sense of humor about it all, and afterall, newbies that come on here don't know all that went on before, and they should be glad they dont...Maybe a few were glad about someone going after me, hehe...if we can all basically get along, that's all I'm hoping for...the drama stuff gets in the way of good info and support...I'm the first one to try and not hold grudges, but if the shite gets too deep, there is always the abuse button for anyone's use...just my take, hope you guys are well...

that's me... the 'newbie' being talked about... altho nothing done on purpose, I apologize 'cause someone did mention they had a problem with a banned member being abusive (or it was explained but not in detail)... don't know circumstances and don't want to... don't think anybody that comes on for support has to know the hx of the forum.. just my take..  If he was abusive, I agree in banning but why is the person back???? Personally, I thought his posts have been helpful; but don't know the background, I may not have caught his recent abuse... if someone is allowed to come back on (because everyone deserves a 2nd chance) and then abusive again... there should be a striking system ..for example, strike two (Or some determined number) then PERMANENTLY out...
I am ill and nauseated at the moment... but glad I came on, if I've caused a hurt person to have more pain... my sincerest apologies as it was not intended.  look... this is a support forum.. and I know you're probably a lot further along in tx than me... and this can play a number on sensitivity... maybe that's coming into play...just a thought?  but anyway letting things go... and humor might be our best medicine here.  Certainly hope a grudge isn't going to held against me... not saying I think anybody would... we're all in this tx.. together and it ain't easy.... good luck... be well

I agree with you...and especially since I'm not the only one that was gone after, there is a small club, ha ha!...but really, it's hard to ban people permanently...so at this point, I just want to get on and let go...try to see the glass half full, whatever...and there is always the abuse button...but anyway, it's all good, just hope you feel better soon...

yeah, I prob shouldn't have posted what I did, but I have a big mouth (can I get an amen! ha ha)...of course newcomers can't know what went on beforehand, nor should they know it, it's past drama, whatever...but I guess what happened to me (and a few others) was pretty "real" to say the least, and that's why I came off a bit sensitive, if I did - it was pretty creepy< and i'm sure many in my place would of reacted much the same way - im not perfect or a Saint...I'm past it now, unless it's comes up again! ha ha! So this will be the end of it from my perspective, if everything goes well...

alady, knew who you were talkin about cause orphanhawk attempted to give me a warning... but you people... I went back & been reading his post in last couple days.. and I'm not the ONLY one that thought his comments were helpful (even tho I was picked out.. haha - but don't mind that at all, no offense taken).. but there were several member that were obviously older members welcoming him back and engaging him... from what I'd gathered from his remarks that he'd been banned... but now back.. and seems for the most part he had a fan club... but like you said, we can move on and if he is abusive write adm.  there should be a complaint dept or something...ha ha... hey, thanks people so much ... I'm feeling so much better.. nausea has really subsided ... drank some broth... and having the next two days off is great!

Saltine crackers helped my nausea a lot. When it's bad you can also drink a coke with the crackers. I would never be able to eat when nauseated, except for crackers. The salt is good for your tummy.

I don't know a lot about the politics of this particular forum bc I only pop in and out.  Have been now for over a year but I don't come close to reading every thread.  I treated last year and I only come back occasionally these days to offer my support to those in need of it.

I guess that's why I get a little irked when I see somebody constantly scaring people.  I saw a thread on the other side that set me off a bit and prompted this thread.  I am settled down now.  Must have been the lingering effects of the full moon last night.  I'm usually able to ignore such idiocy.

Speaking of the full moon and drama, we had some people lose it on the political forum I admin yesterday.  They really came out to howl at the moon.  LOL

please don't think I was singling you out, you have to realize that there are a lot of issues here that you can't possibly know about...first things, some people are worse off with this disease then others, and they get some considertion for that, for not getting helped by the meds etc...and this person is very intelligent and does have a lot of good things to say and help people with...Also, people are given a lot of points for just being here so long...and going through so much...there is some life and death things going on here from time to time...

Many of us are not perfect, so maybe outbursts of a lot of negative behavior, etc...in the past, are forgiven now...and people want to be forgiving and give people another chance, of course, if you were the object of some of the slander and vitriol, etc...it's not that easy....many chances have already been given...and if a person looks like they are making a much better effort to get along, they will get a bunch of attaboy's from many of the older members here...

Also, maybe some people just would like to make sure they aren't the next victim, maybe awful thing to say, but I'm a straight shooter, if anyone disagrees with any of this, that's their right, there are a lot of reasons for a lot of things...and if I wanted to be paranoid, maybe some of the people on this person's "prior" hitlist, aren't liked by everybody, including me, I don't expect to be liked by EVERYONE, who does? maybe a lot of reasons, but I'd guess the most prevalent reason is a forgiving nature by a lot of members who have even been victims themselves...you just can't possibly know what was said to me..it wasn't just your usual infighting, bad arguments, stuff like that...it was really pretty amazing, and I've never had anything said to me....like the things that were said...I assure you...some others would testify to the same thing...it's beyond what you think...but I got a lot of lessons, and a big one is that this is the internet...I'm just answering your post...

everything being posted is based on our own experiences which in turn helps others understand the nature of our beast.  Some get lucky with sx and some very unlucky.

Tator: well, I just fell like a sack of potatoes, out in front of my place, purse, keys flying in the air...luckily, I missed a little doggie pie by about a foot...Man, that would of been a bummer and a half!!!(I know which neighbor(s) ain't picking up after their pooch! that's another story)...and I'm looking up at sky...boy am I going to have a bruise on my patootie!
