Back in the saddle

Hi all. I wasn't sure where to post as it seems everyone is using both. I am a long-time lurker and occasional poster. I went through 48 weeks of tx in 2005 with the IDEAL study and relapsed between week 24-48 (They reduced the peg dose because of low plattlets). I started peg and ribaviron again on Fri. I was deathly ill with cold chills, vomiting, dizziness, and this resolved Sat. night. Same as last time.... Poor me. My question is about the redi-pen. I think this is a huge waste of money and obviously a marketing idea, but hey they don't ask my opinion. I had a little trouble with the plunger and then I couldn't see the needle because the pen is so fat so I turned it around trying to see and ended up with a nice bruise. Any one else have trouble with this thing. Any other problems that I should be aware of? Thanks!

Well hello again. I never used the Redipen so I can't help you there. I do want to wish you better luck this time and easier sides in the future. Good luck, Mike

I think both are tricking, but one can get use to anything.  I actually liked the redipen better than the Pegasys prefilled, but I like the Pegasys medicine better.  So far, I think it's been easier to tolerate.  How far are you into tx?
