Hi Charm,
Are you drinking enough water? I know I have harped on this before but it truly helped me with the headaches and it took drinking more than I thought humanly possible to make a noticable difference.
Also, I found that limiting caffeine, eliminating aspartame (nutrasweet) and all diet drinks/foods that contain it also helped a lot. I get migraines so doc allowed me to take an occasional naprosyn/naproxen (Aleve) for that since it is the most effective for my migraine symptoms.
For the regular tx-related headaches, I did take Tylenol the most. Taking megadoses of Tylenol for long periods can be damaging, as can using it if one also uses alcohol, but taking it moderately isn't supposed to hurt us.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
Robin
oh ok. I thought aspirin was a no no. Good I will try that. These headaches are really debilitating
and if I can correct it with an aspirin no need to suffer with a headache everyday . Never had them before. Wake up every morning with one.
Thanks for setting me straight on that issue.
I don't see why aspirin is out of the question. I used it all during tx's and sort of alternated with ibup. and acetim. But, more often aspirin. Docs were not concerned with blood thining, even with platelets in the 60-70 range.
thanks much for your input-yeah last night blew me away, came out of left field like all the symptoms do. I just e-mailed the doctor asking about the Tylenol and headaches again.
Thanks Rose , wasnt aware 4 Tylenols would be acceptable seems like alot. I think I have had more decent days than bad so Im just trying to focus on that.
Thank you both and have a good day.

Sorry to lnow you're feeling crumby. I think we not supposed to take aspirin because of its blood thin potential.
Ask the doc what may be substituted or maybe you' get a scrip for something elso. No pont in going thru any more pain and consternation than ya hafta!!
Let us know...xxooxxoo mayday
Hi, I was told that I could take up to 4 extra strength tylenols a day safely. Due to the fact that I have a shoulder injury, I take at least 2 a day. I also take the trazodone. My shoulder dr gave me tramadol ER and the gastro dr told me I could take it as long as I did not take the tylenol. I did take one and did not take the tylenol that 24 hr period. I could not function on the tramadol so I have not taken any more. I too am afraid of all the problems of the medications. I go see the gastro on Monday, so I can ask about all my concerns.
I was so glad to see how your 4 wk blood work turned out. You are in my prayers for your VL results.
God Bless,
Rose
