On to SVR just marvelous!
good for you! get on with your life and let this all fade away
Really happy for you that you've finished tx - and crossing my fingers for your SVR.
Most new math problems today are mostly a process of elimation and common sense,if you know the princples of math you dont even need a calculator when doing problem questions....im impressed Annie
I'm nearly through a BS in Information Systems. I had to take Calculus and some other pretty hideous stuff. I'm not good at math either, but to get to the 4th year of a Bachelor of Science, you can't circumvent the math entirely. I don't think I necessarily did it the easiest way, but I worked it out on my own. You can deduce that it has to be greater than 3 hours right off the git. Then you have to figure out how far each goes in an hour. They key is adding the 3 hours to cyclist 1 only.
Did you do this or did you look at the answer first...??...so your a smart cookie eh?
The answer is B. 4.5 hours. The first cyclist has a 3 hr. headstart, so 3 + 4.5 = 7.5. 7.5 times 6 (mph) = 45. For the second cyclist, we just multiply by 4.5. He's going 10 mph, and 10 times 4.5 is also 45. I hate word problems.
the math in the college tests are nothing like the regular math, its all new now,its all about soling problems...i can send a link with some test questions
RIDDLE ME THIS
2. Two cyclists start biking from a trail's start 3 hours apart. The second cyclist travels at 10 miles per hour and starts 3 hours after the first cyclist who is traveling at 6 miles per hour. How much time will pass before the second cyclist catches up with the first from the time the second cyclist started biking?
A. 2 hours
B. 4 ½ hours
C. 5 ¾ hours
D. 6 hours
E. 7 ½ hours

From the looks of all the math you have done in this thread, I think you are ready for your test and your college classes. You go guy!
If i do SVR,you will hear the pressure release valve of stress leave me body for miles around...it will sound like steam whistle
For the first time in 9 months ive finally awoken and there was no God awful taste in my mouth and i notice no more pills seeping from the pores of my skin,i could run my finger across my face and smell the TX drugs on my hand
So glad for you, EOT, isn't is sweet? Now on to SVR!!!! Congratulations on finishing.
Good to hear that you are finished.
I just got word that I will restart with the real drug since I was given the placebo the fist time. I probably will start in 2 weeks after I get back from vacation.
25 days out of 252 days = 14%
so i spent 14 % of that time doing the drugs
TIME SPENT ON TAKING THE TX DRUGS:
PILLS: 4 x day x 5 min = 20 min/day x 252/day = 84 hours
PEG : 1 shot/week x 36 weeks x10 min = 6 hours
SETTING TIMERS: 4 x day x 5 min = 20 min/day x 252 days = 84 hours
ENTERING DATA IN PALM PILOT ;1 X DAY X 5 min/dayx 252 days = 21 hours
DOCTOR APPTS: 9 months x 5 hours = 45 hours
SO, i spent approx 240 hours or 35 days of my life taking drugs
YUes,its sure does feel wonderful to stop taking the meds, even tho i didnt have any SX...teh meds did throw a monkey wrench in everything i did...i finally got the chance to sleep in this morning for the first time in 9 months....and now i can go out and not have to carry my pills and water with me where ever i go....im going to add up the time it took me to take the pills and PEG and enterin the data on the palm pilot and actually see how much time was spent...THANK YOU ...
