Bumpy Road, but I'm Still Around

As many of you know I cared for my two elderly parents while doing tx.
Well, I got SVR just in time.

On Oct 27th, my mother had a heart attack and on Nov. 1st. my dad died.
When his older sister, who helped raise him,.heard of his death 3 days later she died.

My mother got home from the hospital just one day before my father died
Thank God they spent the last day of their 66 year marriage together.

My condolences to you.  While I was on treatment I lost my Mother  and a childhood friend, both in July and both were smoking related.  Good luck on your new life hcv-free.

I'm so sorry for your losses. It's so hard to lose one family member at a time, I can't even quite imagine the difficulty of losing three in less than one week. And to think of you going through all that care-giving while on txand while providing so much help for others in tx! You deserve a huge thank you and many hugs.

I'm also very grateful you got your SVR in time for your parents to experience that great relief for you before their own passing.
