Coordination, Spatial Judgement, Bumps & Bruises

Those on tx or post tx, anyone notice a 'balance' problem..??? Spatial awareness, clumsiness?  Went to place something on a counter at work, inadequately judged the position and it fell to the floor... no serious harm or loss unless it becomes often... everyone makes a mistake, ahh... but I don't make those kinds.  Fatigue, causing this?  Yeah, body slow and mind going fast but get PLENTY of sleep - that's what bothers me most about this shite... sleeping 10 to 12 out of 24... that sux big time... no time to even read here, 'cause sleeping, eating, working, eating... sleeping again! ha ha! I've gone to open a drawer and miss it by an inch or so and hit the top of dresser.. that's only one in one hundred examples and developing bruises.. oh well... gotta go now to try to make it through another 7 hr work day... but ahh... any doc that anyone knows in SC that's be known to tx less if clearing early - my doc says go 52... cleared 4 wks.  Besides all that mentioned feeling great- ha! Peace.

thanks... all.. and yes, wyntre you're close it is #14. at work so only at computer a min... and yes, it will work out with those hours ... just said major personal projects... and with the college kids able to do work over the summer for $... that's good and the paperwork he said I could do at home and keep a record of hours... we'll see how it goes.
but I DO get a lot of sleep... uninterrupted long hours.. and hours and hours. and I don't take anything - if I did I'd never be awake... that's the biggest problem .. besides memory, coordination, fatigue(even with sleep) and JUST beginning to clog the shower up with hair.. besides that life is grand.. just peachy... hope all treaters have it light this weekend... Peace.

I could be wrong but most docs recommend so much sleep that I feel sometimes it's just hard to wake up and function well. Then when I try to function on less it's really a disaster. Soo, I'm guessing sleeping pattern related since you've indicated that you try to not take too many extra meds. I do take extra meds to help get through tx and expect 'some' dizziness but maybe just knowing help compensate... just MHO but feel the importance (although don't do well personally) of really being consistent in food, time of day for meds etc. etc. Since on study I have to take 6 extra 'horse' pills daily that have to be with food and it's a different time from ribo... go figure... anyway my 2 on that one.... sorry for the bruises :)

What's your job and is it possible to take some time off is what I meant to say.

I can't read much anymore, either, and it's driving me nuts!

I had dizziness and vertigo several times and turns out it was related to bad ear infections.

I would see the Dr. about those sx as you need to be careful while driving.

Yeah, these SX STINK!  Especially the fatigue.  there's no way I can work now as there are days when I can barely get out of bed.

I really feel for you.

What's your job?

I'm not having that sx. You should tell your doctor. Maybe he can run a test for it. We are all different. Good luck to you.

thanks so much for the comments... and yes, there's been kind of a stuffy feel in the ears, but that has been only slight and for weeks, just shortly after onset of tx! thought I'd catch you before sleeping...yeah wyntree, I could afford to take the time off but not sure if I'd keep the job, if you get my drift... my SO makes good $ & mine supplements, vacations, extras, etc.. but absolutely love the job (under normal circumstances)... it is a combination of inside/outside so there's fresh air, sun and enjoying working with what I'm surrounded with... and always liked the physical aspect of it, now.. I do have a lot vacation accrued and have really considered taking Wed off. that way I never work more than 2 days in row ... don't know... we'll see. I'm still not doing too bad... hope tx sx are light for everyone tonight..Libby

Having to pace yourself is a a-pain-in-the-a** but, unfortunately, a reality for many on tx.

If you can do the two days on two days off schedule I'll bet that would help a lot, psychologically as well as physically.

I WOULD have tried a variation of that myself, taking off Mondays and Tuesdays, but school districts mess with benefits and tenure if you do that so for me it made more sense to go out on medical leave.

I forgot what week you're on but I'm thinking it's 13 of 52, right?

i think there is some link to hcv. one of the tests my hep. doc. had me do was touch his nose then to mine , back and forth. then the other hand. i thought it was strange at the time but i guess it proved something to him!!!

How are your ears? For some reason, I get fluid and 'clogginess' or stuff pretty frequently and sometimes that has an impact on 'deftness'.  Tiredness can also play a role.
