Discovery Health show-livers

I happened to be flipping through channels tonight and came across a show on discovery health called docology.  It has Leslie Nielson in it.  It had a segment on livers-liver transplants.  On my cable station, it air again at 11:30 pm.   It had some 'amusing' parts in it to add some 'light-heartedness' to our dreary disease situations.    It was an actual 'informative-scientific show' with this one side line of a 'goofy doctor' being thrown into it, who was being acted out by Leslie Nielson.   Check it out if you get the chance and let me know how you liked it.

Your liver is one hard-working organ, and the only one that can regenerate. Uncle brings Robert to witness an actual liver transplant, that is if they can find the missing organ....

Thanks very much for sharing this as I enjoyed it and was a bit 'awakened' to my sugar intake as well... I didn't know that alcohol equals additional sugar intake and sugar is just bad... the transplant was interesting as well. I understand that living donors are increasing to be more than whole liver donars... again thanks very much!

It was sort of funny when the liver ended up in the trash bin....    I know sick humour!     I actually learned some things that I didn't know.
