Hepatitis B and residence permit in France

I have chronic hepatitis B and been using Viread and Zeffix. ALT has been normal, HBV DNA has been negative and HBeAg has been positive recently. Now I am post-doctoral researcher in Paris and applied to temporary residence permit in Paris for 1-year without work permit. I have been working in an institution in my country and I can benefit from our social security system through the consulate. Namely, I do not need social security in France. I would like to learn whether my hepatitis B create a problem for the residence permit or not? Merci beaucoup.

Thank you very much for your answer. In fact, in various web sites, it is mentioned from lung x-ray and not blood tests, including medical interview. However, it is mentioned from vaccination card for university students, e.g. ERASMUS.

I am waiting medical visit invitation now. I hope things go well.

I don't think that it should be a problem. Never heard of special screening for French residency. I am besides other also a French citizen, but haven't lived in France since 1968. So I am not up to date with these kind of things. Did they ask for a hep B status on the application?
