Hepatitis C anti-viral agents

For those people interested in learning more about the new drugs that may be used with SOC to treat HCV, I would like to recommend the following video by my doctor Noah Terrault from the UCSF Transplant Clinic here in San Francisco.

This video was made 3/12/09. So there may be more current data available now when this talk was given, but I think the overall topic of the new drugs are covered well and in depth. It also illustrates that a new era in treatment is coming with great advantages and brand new sets of challenges (resistance, protease cross resistance, increased adverse affects).

“Dr. Norah Terrault of UCSF presents an update on treatment of Hepatitis C including use of triple therapy and other novel anti-viral agents”. 0 - 33:20 minutes
