Liver transplants/ obesity/teens

wanted to add Gauf has a really good list of liver friendly foods.   on his profile, might be worth taking a look at,   I do beleive in moderation, but these foods are things the liver can easily metabolise.

I think this article scaried me more than so many I have seen.  If a young person with a somewhat "new and healthy" liver can develop fibrousous,  Imagine how diet can affect ours?

Wow, that's another eye-opener. I knew that fatty liver disease could be fatal, but I didn't see it as a threat to teens. Most here know firsthand that there are not enough livers to go around and many die each year waiting for transplant. This cause of liver failure seems preventable.

Maybe Its time for a lot of us to start thinking about reeducate ourselves to dietitians and  or fitnes coaches the only ones thats gonna get a job for sure in the future.

Scary articel my youngest daugther, shes gonna be 13 within a month have had and have some overweight problems but its going in the right direction it seems.

think it is kinda of scary how easly  fibrois can  happen,  the concerns of diet,  how few livers there are for translpants.
