Thanks for the link.

It's too bad they left out the very real cause of so many Vietnam vets exposure to hep c via airjet gun inoculations while in boot camp.
I believe the military tries to cover this fact by blaming the Vets themselves for being involved in risky behavior while in S.E. Asia.
If they did contract it in S.E. Asia, why do we only have people with genotype 1-4 in the US while S.E. Asia has genotypes 1-6 ?

According to http://hcvets.com

Each Hour Of Every Day, Three People Die From Hepatitis C

Two Of These People Have Military Backgrounds

A while back I saw, what I assume was a military cover-up story, like this one, where they claimed Vietnam vets got hep C from either drug use or prostitutes in Vietnam.

Many vets from that era, including some of our members on the forum, will tell you stories about the air-jet gun inoculations. They were so sharp, that if you moved slightly, they cut you. The men were lined up, and each were given a shot, without cleaning the gun in-between. My husband recalls guys walking down the line afterwords with blood dripping down their arms.
