Panicking again

Griz finally opened the packet of info I recieved from UWMC and they want dental,colonoscopy mamogram and everything done before my app.I am panicking terror more like it I don;t have the money for a dentist.The free dentist here won't see because of a dispute with the Medical clinic that is affliliated with them had a dr that I had a disagreement with a morphine prescrition I had that they would not akcnowledge.I should have procured an attorney but I never thought they would ban me from all their clinics.The gastro only comes here every so many months.This is gonna look so bad for me escpecially since I told them there was no way i could get there in January.I mean come on who isn't broke after Xmas and look at the weather in my area.We have 6 inches of snow out in the yard and the roads aren't much better.Why did i wait?Why didn't I wait?...it would have been so much easier this spring.I NEED TO WIN THE LOTTERY!I can't eat I am so panicked and tears right on the edge.Please tell me that I matter.Please tell me this isn't that hard.Why did i have to be one of the unlucky ones?I love people so much and am so kind and compassionate.Give this disease to a mean banker !

I had Delta for years, until I was almost paying what I got out of it....Then I switched to "Flex Spending" I had it for the first time lsdt yesr...deed to work out well......cost me the same as Delta.....

  I use Delta Dental, they pay for about half, and then I make monthly
payments.  I suppose all the dental work has to be done at once. I had to make monthly payments of $60. a month, for a couple years, but I am still having problems with a crown.

That's great news Cree.  I'm so glad to hear that the nurse in your PCPs office was able to help.  Now, on to figuring out the dental appointment.  What other towns are nearby you that might have a dentist taking new patients?

Lovely Lady from the clinic callled and made all my app and set some up for the same location one after the other and she did it all local except the colonoscopy is in Omak ( Not that far).She was a nurse from my PCP office. I thanked her so much and told her the misery she had eased for me.I asked for  rest and comfort for someone else and I got it myself!Life's lessons are so beautiful at times and my faith in the human race is slowly being restored something I did not think possible!

It is venting on medhelp :) Riv is totally right.  It's very daunting and you are going through a lot. Just take it easy and do things one at a time.  and remember to breathe, this too shall pass.

It's okay to whine, Snow. Call it venting, it's less judgmental. :-)
I have complained, vented and whined so much on this forum and if I let my embarrassment over that stop me from posting, then I would have been a very lonely person.
We are here for each other, even when you don't get a response, do not assume that folks are judging you. Sometimes a person sends a positive thought or prayer your way but just doesn't mention it.
Concerning *you* dear, always assume the best. Always assume warmth flowing from this site to you, even when it is unspoken.
About the Dentist, if you cannot get them to reconsider then focus on your other appointments for now.

I am whining again and I feel bad that I need so much reassurance.The clinic I saw in the PAST banned me!They usually only do that if you have a pain contract.I Did not have a contract and I was innocent of the accusations.Unfortunately when they banned me ,it included their affiliated Dental Clinic.The only sliding fee  scale dental in this  area of the County.Just for information I live in the largest and poorest county in the state of Washington.We have so many rural  communities that we also have the largest bus system for all the rural kids.All lot of the folks live so far back in the mountains no one even knows they are there.Settle is a different world compared to hear and from others that have told about their experiences there,they all say it's like a foreign country compared to home.
  Thanks.I need to imagine Jesus looking into my eyes and telling that he loves me and I am inmportant.To go wash my hair so that it smells pretty,being his little girl  and he is gonna make everything alright.I know he will I have to keep telling myself this.

Take a deep breath hon.
I do not believe they will *ban* you from getting a transplant. Make the appointments for each procedure. Have them send you hard copies of the appointment confirmations. Send a message to your GI and let him know it is urgent that you get the colonoscopy done asap and tell him why.
Send a letter to the dental clinic as well. Let them know it may be a matter of life or death for you.
All you can do is follow through and ask them to do their part. Keep documentation of every letter you write and every reply you recieve.
You will not get a transplant for awhile, just set everything in motion and pray that it comes together in time for your next visit with them. You will be surprised at how quickly things can happen once you get it started.
Breathe, and do one letter a day. Get a folder to keep all correspondence in..Before you know it, the snow will have melted and you will be on your way.
