Red Rice Yeast Extract for Cholesterol

Anyone taking it? If so, what did your doctor say? What dose? What results, before and after? For those interested, red rice yeast extract (Monascus  purpureus )is a kind of natural statin sometimes taken for those who want to reduce their cholesterol.

hi, I don't really have a lot of experience with this, my cholesterol has always been good (ironically enough, I wonder if there has been more studies indicating high cholesterol being a predictor for ultimate SVR, I seem to remember a study?) but a small amount of it was in a energy/health powder I took, you prob know more about it then I do at this point...best of luck with this...
