SVR? 2nd -3rd tx's?

HI Everyone!
I've been checking out this forum for some time. I'm 1a stage 3, and about to inject shot 6 tomorrow.  Thanks so much for the enlightenment as well as the splendiferous sense of humor expressed here!
I do have a couple of questions 4 you, please? What is "SVR" ? I'm supposing that it's beyond UND, but when I look it up, I get "a Russian Intelligence Service." Now, I'm no astronaut, but I think this may not be correct.
Also, I keep reading of people with 2nd or 3rd go rounds with tx: is this common? Sorry, but this is a quite overwhelming concept at this point.
Just one more?? I realize that riba drops the platelets, but I'm getting concerned. Mine were 73 last week, and I still have a whole lot of pink rabbit pellets to munch before tx is over.

I am trying to stay positive, about to start milk thistle (am aware of the controversy: Dr. suggested), and burning white sage & lavender oil for negativity. This is definitely a life-altering event. I am so used to others leaning on me -- not vice-versa. Rather humbling, and quite a trust enhancing change. However, no matter how '+' , I attempt to be: I defy anyone to walk over my limp body in the grocery store: don't make me study astral projection! ; )

SVR is when your viral load remains non-detectible six months after you stop taking the treatment drugs. A recent study (around 100 folks) suggests that SVR can be called with 100% accuracy at the three-month post treatment mark, with the exception of those who are stage 4. In this sub-group (the stage 4's) best to wait for six-months post treatment before popping the cork.

Let me know if your mom-in-law begins to avoid visiting because of your baggie.  If she stays away because of it that makes it real 'sage' advice that  I will put to use.

LMAO! Thanks for the 411 !   The sage is for negativity; the lavender oil is for calming,

Rather funny story: I don't really have the hearts & flowers relationship with the in-laws, so we've elected to ONLY tell them that I'm on chemo. Of course, they instantly jump to the cancer conclusion, which I prefer at this point. Anyway, mother-in-law came in yesterday and saw my big baggie of white sage. She has a real gossip issue, so it didn't take long for me to hear that I had started smoking dope for my "cancer". Guess she can smoke some with me if she wants, huh? I will be certain to light up on the next visit!

Again, thanks for the help: I think I've found a place that gets it!  : )

SVR is Sustained Viral Response.  It's being virus undetected 24 weeks after the end of treatment.  Hopefully you will continue to have regular blood work to keep track of hemoglobin, white blood cell stuff as well as platelets.  Generally speaking (at least for the doc on my case) they will not consider platelets in the danger zone til they hit about 30.  For the past couple of months I've bounced around in the mid-60's and docs not concerned.  Burning the  sage and lavender sound like a good idea, I'd be afraid of burning down the hose.  I'd forget where I put burning stuff.
