yes, and yes. i got several blood tests done by 2 different doctor's. i, too, ended up going with a clinical trial. i have one of the leading liver specialists here in so cal. i am in my 21st week, been UND since week 8 and have not regretted for one minute on my decisions. good luck to you. belle
Yes, and yes. To your first question, I had the antibody test done twice to be sure. Then after seeing the first Gastroenterologist, I had some concerns about his knowledge level and capability in taking me through treatment so I went for a second opinion with a larger medical centre with a liver clinic. I went with the second opinion docs and through treatment on a clinical drug trial with them. SVR now. Good luck.
I did. I was so paranoid about a false positive PCR at 4 weeks after starting triple treatment with Victrelis that I had 2 PCR tests done. One was the Quest Heptimax and the other was the NGI Quantasure. I got the same results from both, UND. At 12 weeks I've only had the Quest Heptimax done and am still waiting for results. Why do you ask?
