Was in the Hospital
I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday season /Merry Christmas ( whatever your faith )
I finally gave into my stubbornness and went to the ER Monday because when I went last Fri I left! It was packed. Well, the pain in my R side under my rib got unbearable. I thought you know the typical antibiotics and a shot of morphine, NOPE!!! I did have a GREAT ER DR. She was very thorough. The nurse was so pissy because the Dr ordered many tests. Well because of my health history she was being cautious. I liked that until she came in and said You are being admitted. I just broke down and cried so hard. I am really beginning to get depressed, it seems my life is always Drs, ERs, Pills, and so on..........My whole life circles around illness and pain! I am sure there are many ofd you who can understand this! Well the cat-scan showed my colon was very inflamed, and Dr said I have bad colitis? I said so you are admitting me for this? Well, I had 6 bags of flagil IV and fluids. Was not aloud to eat. Then I talked the Dr in the am to discharge me. He called my GI she said yes it was ok as long as I come in with in a week. It is so bad they wanted to keep me on IV antibiotics for another 24hrs. Well I am on them PO now , but I have to take 2 different kinds PO............Funny thing is I am on the same meds for the same thing that my Boxer Ginger is on lmao!!! Said because my colon inflamed and liver inflamed, they are putting pressure on each other and that is why the pain was so great! Also had an EKG and cardiac enzymes, had me on a heart monitor the whole time. Asked nurse once I got on the floor why I was in a cardiac monitor, she said because of what my EKG showed. I said what did my EKG show, she ignored me and walked out of the room. I mean I can go on and on.........I had an argument with her because they messed all of my meds up. So Much insanity, I wasn't expecting to be kept and I behaved like a defiant little brat! Or I cried my eyes out saying how much more? Really How much more can I handle? Im going to be 38 yrs old in Feb and I filled 23 rx's this month! So the only humor is me and my dog have the same illness lol
Im home for the Christmas with my Son and Mom Thank God, and I will deal with this next week. I have antibiotics to take for a week, and then I have too follow up. Now I have an endoscopy already schedule, I guess a colonoscopy is next? and also see my primary because my EKG was so erratic, so maybe a cardiologist too? I just want to go to sleep and not wake up for a month!!! BUT I am going to have a HAPPY NIGHT WITH MY FRIENDS AND FAMILT TONIGHT!! I am not giving into all of these attacks, that is how I feel like I am being attacked by the ugly evil one..........Just when things start getting in order for my tx another or maybe 2 more illnesses pop up UUhhhhhggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
BTW PS I got my psych eval for my tx Jan 8, so I am sure I will be starting tx by Feb if all goes well with the endoscopy and psych says Im ok to do it.............

YEP!! This *BRAT* Defiant little BRAT lol is on her way back I think? Waiting on DRs to call me back........Thanks so much everyone for all the thoughts and prayers

..what's this life like w/o the DRAMA we seem to incur as part of TX?? Brent was in the ER twice this year...and had a heart procedure, too, all while continuing TX...(week 76/84 in the can, now, so to speak).
Here you were so sick and you took the time to PM me...I appreciated the thought.

Poor girl! You sound like your living my sisters life for years now, never ending illness, battles (but cancer too) & it is endless meds & trips to Dr.'s. Er's.
First, the nurse needs scolded, or fired! ANY medical person should be ready for a 'brat' or any patient sick & frustrated. A nurse told my sis one trip in....could u turn your head, your breath is really bad!!! She'd been taken in via ambulance! I wasn't in the room, d*m good thing!
One thing at a time hon, you need to deal with these issues first. Good that you are getting all these test done also, that the Dr, is checking so much out.
Too funny on the dog meds! I know the feeling here! On tx 1 of my dogs take 3 white capsules a day (med a person can also take too) & one night I think...I took his meds instead of my white Riba capsules! I was talking to a friend, got out his meds, next minute they are not in my hand & he's not around, LOL. & with brain fog...couldn't remeber to save my life! I had to do the ol' gag & throw up deal !

Yikes...sorry to hear about this latest trouble. Hopefully they got you straightened out and you will get to feeling better soon.

Hope the IV antibiotics turn things around for you. Definitely don't want to start tx with any type of lingering issues like these. Take care of yourself.
Nope Boby not yet! This is just all I deal with everyday. That is why I am afraid of starting tx.........

Hope you are feeling better soon. Sounds like you have a lot to deal with in addition to the Hep C. Sounds like you are tx bound and will be on your journey soon.
