No, I wasn't kidding. There's a 22 year old lady member in her early twenties named "Swizzlestick". Thought you two might have something in common, treating at a similar age, etc.

Jessica, glad that you're a 2 and not a 1. Better odds for you.
Jim, we've got a few younger folks here now. Wish for their sakes they didn't have to be here, but I wish all of them the best, hate to see them going through this tx. We have jessica, swizzle, gitmoes, and I think some others as well. Raha.. And that's not counting the parents on here with kids that age who are txing.
Hmm. Must have been "SwizzleStick" then. I do remember whoever posted was in their early twenties. I think. And I think that's just the two of you. If you see her here, you might say hi. Glad you're only doing 24 and not 72.

2B...... VL 2.9 million, No liver damage and I have had this virus for 21 years.
It's probably 24 weeks due to your genotype? What genotype are you.
I am only being treated for 24 weeks. Not 72 , Must not have been me. I have no liver damage
Echo to nygirl's advice: Check that hemoglobin. Mine dropped from 15.6 to 11.5 in four weeks, which did not put me below the usual level that indicates a need for epogen. But the rapidity of the drop knocked me for a loop, and my doctor readily wrote a prescription. Epo takes a while to work, so you have to get on top of it - if your doctor is willing.
Have at least 10 glasses of liquids a day. Drink!! Try to have as many small meals as you can.
Sounds normal for treatment, but very sorry you have to go through this at such a young age.
In many cases, the nausea will go away by week 12 or so. Just make sure you drink the water and take the riba with food that has an adequate fat content.
I believe you asked early-on, if everyone treated for 72 weeks. I think that was you. Not sure if you saw my answer, but most geno 1's treat for 48 weeks and most geno 2's treat for 24 weeks. Did your doctor tell you why he's treating youso long?
Did you fail a previous treatment, or perhaps show a lot of liver damage? These are a couple of reasons why a doctor might want to treat longer than 48 weeks, but always a good idea to ask so you know the answer.
Any viral load tests back yet?
All the best,

Make sure you get your hemoglobin run on a CBC around now is when the anemia starts.......falling asleep at your desk being the SO tired..........
