Well, I think the acidophilus in the yogurt I ate, during my Triple Tx really helped my stomach, so if you cant tolerate regular yogurt, there is always soy yogurt.
I was on Victrelis, so I did 28 weeks. For some reason, my nausea did end up fading alot, as if my body actually got used to taking 18 Victrelis pills a day, hah. But I did have the 24 hour stomach flu twice. It would start as a migraine waking me up, at 4 am, with some gut--wrenching, etc.
Try to take it one day at a time, instead of thinking about it being three more months.
Yes, I am finding soy, rice and almond r ok...quite an adjustment though...miss my icecream and cheese!!! lol Starting to find things I like now though and it is totally worth it as I am not nearly as sick. Thanks for your comment
Thanks for your comment...and you are right allergies are better than hep c!!! I
I have developed an allergy to milk, specifically whey (not lactose, which is milk sugar). I now use goat and soy milks with no problems.
I did, and they have stuck with me. Of all things it is palm oil and dust mites. Both of them tested off the charts. It bites big time, but I will take that over Hep C any day of the week. (I'm 14 months post tx).
