I lost about 75% of mine but it did grow back (I treated for 72 weeks though and it started getting bad about week 30 or so, really noticable after that).  It's not the same hair that i had pre=treating but...I did end up with a dead thyroid thanks to the peg and that is one of the sides of that.

My hair started thinning out about wk 24, but not as bad as a chemo-patient. My wife had breast cancer tx and lost all hers. She is 1 yr clean and her hair has grown back. I just did my last shot (wk 48) and my hair started to come back in around wk. 40. I thought the tx had stopped working but I am still UND. It was noticeable and people did ask me how I was feeling. I had all the classic sx, weight loss, drawn face, no energy, rash, etc. But folks say I look better now. Gotta believe!

I've been on tx for about 30 weeks with no real hair loss. It is probably a little thinner, though. I think you just have to wait and see: no way to plan ahead other than to be aware that it is a possiblity.

There's always that stuff in the spray can ;)

Good luck!

yes it thins out alot. if your txing 24 weeks it shouldnt be as bad as someone txing 48-72 weeks- then the women have to pull out the scarfs and wigs!

It grows back after tx.
