anyone know if cephalexin 250 mg is really hard on liver?please respond
hey iam unsure of that med hurting liver i had to take it do to a tooth infection,i hope it doesnt harm the liver.. iam stage 2 and grade 2 and 1a.. relapsed after 48 weeks tx. i did respond at between 12-24 weks.. stinks i know but life goes on.. i have good and bad days.. Sandra....
Google it. There are several sites that just give drug label info. Wikipedia is a good starting point, as it usually is linked to the other label sites. Look for lines within the label info that refer to liver or hepatic. If there is any knowledge that a drug can harm the liver it will be on the label. You can easily come across a line on some drug labels that warns about treating patients with "hepatic impairment" (means liver damage). That warning usually just refers to folks with liver damage requiring a lower dose for effective treatment and should not be of concern.
