Nice to see the Jim is still on this site if you read this Jim just like to say hi and looking forward to hearing from you . You have a great sense of humor and alot of great information.

Hi Spz,

I know very little about Infergen treatment protocols but I wish you all the best this time around. A few of our members have treated with Infergen and maybe one of them will stop by. I assume, like with SOC, that early and frequent viral load testing --- using sensitive assays -- is important to monitor your progress. Same with early intervention of Rescue drugs like Procrit if needed. Are you seeing a liver specialist (hepatologist)? They appear to have the most experience with re-treatment and especially with treatments other than SOC.

Knock the virus dead this time!

Be well,

-- Jim

I did 72 weeks of infergen. I cleared but relasped. I have done all the different interferons and did not think infergen was worse than the others. On the interferon my liver damage did regress from stage 4 to stage 3. I am now on maintance with infergen. Good Luck with the infergen.
