Sometimes mail ends up going into a "spam folder" and never makes it to the desired destination.  You might check there.

Also a word about posting e-mail addies.  There are "bots" that crawl through forums looking for viable addresses so they can send you spam or other special favors.

If you do post an e-mail addy you might use a slight change in the addy that a person can figure out but a "bot" might not;
(example)  willy "at" yahoo....... instead of ***@**** get the picture.

Also if you post an addy it might be a good idea to use a "throw away" account so that if you do get others spamming or hectoring you you can simply pitch the account instead of having polluted your main account.

If you are members of other forums you can also "meet there" and exchange PM's that aren't visible to others.

This may come off as a little paranoid but it is intended to help.

best,
willy

Deb,

Did you get my email requesting you to send me the spreadsheet?  I still haven't received it.  I'm wondering if you've received my emails?

i don't think necessarily limited to our age group, while blood supply supposedly cleaner, so many points of entry.  there is no routine testing for any age. symptoms don't become clear or bothersome until late in life.  might be one explanation

98 weeks and just done! It must be wonderful to be off treatment now. No brain fog! Oh, I would love that! I can't imagine what a strong person you must be to have been fighting this disease so fiercely since you were 26. I got infected at the age of 22, but did not know until I was 36. It must have been tough on you to deal with such a serious disease at that young age. In some ways maybe it has been a blessing for us in our 40:s and 50:s to have been ignorant about it until now when the drugs have improved and still are.

I wish you all the best! Keep us posted!

Shastri: I started treatment when I was 26... now I'm 38 and still treating (or just completed the treatment). I added a new entry in the "Role Call".

Debnevada: Thank you for thinking about all of us and going the extra mile!

All the best!!

I noticed in the roll call that nearly everybody treating was over 40....anybody can analyse that one?
does it mean that those under 40 prefer to wait or are we more likely to get hep c when we are over 40?

Oh hey now.
I come in to work at 5 a.m. so do you REALLY think I'd fall asleep on the couch if my boss was HERE?

HECK NO

I'm "sneak sleeping" ...thank God for my coworker Cary for being a good guy and not outing me!

Many of us are the children of the sixties and seventies, with flower power and drug use being almost the normal thing to do in certain groups. I have heard that the people in my generation constitute a peak of HCV patients, but that there is another peak, although smaller, coming of younger people, maybe because people have gotten used to HIV being around and don't realize what a threat IV use constitutes to one's health.

Thanks! You computer gurus amaze me! I'm not smart enough to get a job where I can fall asleep on the couch! Good to hear from you.
