Haha, that is exactly what caused the confusion!! I was using it as treatment, but the girl I talked to thought I meant Texas. No wonder I was confused =P
Any treatment, but especially one for HCV or cancer.
To make things more difficult, Tx also is short for our state of Texas; so one can live in Tx and be on Tx too :o).
Marte, never be embarrassed to ask questions in here about anything; we all had to begin learning sometime. There is a guide to the alphabet soup language we use here; you can find it listed in the box called “most viewed health pages” near the bottom right side of this page, or you can go here:
http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Hepatitis/Common-Hepatitis-C-Acronyms/show/3?cid=65
This should help you understand us much better :o).
Bill
