Jakie --- I hope you haven't not married her because of the HCV...
There have been numerous studies with monogamous couples where one is HCV positive. THERE HAVE BEEN NO KNOWN transmissions from the HCV positive person to the uninfected person.
IF no one has told you that yet - you might want to go find those studies... It might really really ease your mind...
I hope you are her best friend forever too!
And SOMEDAY there WILL be a vaccine - and there WILL be a cure.
I just know it!
Hugs love and all that slappin stuff!
Meki
Meki,
I have a friend who is Hcv pos. She had a WILD past and now is paying the price.
She and I would probably be married under different circumstances.
Anyway, we can only hope for a cure/vaccine someday. Wouldn't that be great!
Thanks for slapping me when I needed it.
LOL!
Anytime --- But hey --- I want you to know something...
YOU HAVE LEARNED A LOT about HCV...
You can use that information to help EDUCATE people out in the world.
We all really need HCV to be eradicated --- the more people know about HCV means several things:
1) More knowledge about contaminated products stops infection
2) More knowledge about the drugs and disease means more money in the pharmaceutical companies to do MORE testing
3) Public Awareness stops the isolation, "hatred", stigma that is attached to HCV patients.
You're in a perfect position to go forth and educate the world.
You have knowledge - and knowledge is POWER. Go forth and share that power with the world --- so that one day --- HCV WILL BE GONE.
Much hugs to you!
Meki
thanks for kicking me in the rear. I needed that.
Uhm Jakied --- Youse gots probably a nice comfortable 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% chance of NOT having HCV.
(that .0000000000000000000000000000001% chance is the probability that Mars influenced your test and ONLY your test... I mean... it's possible..... right?)
*GIGGLE*
Just kidding...
35 weeks is a pretty long time to have had so many tests return NEG results.
Methinks you would find something else to spend your money on... and time on....
Much luck to you!!!!!
Hugs,
Meki
