Hiatal Hernia.....is it strangulated?

I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia two years ago and was told that it would fix itself. Recently I started to get pain and my friend accidentally poked me two times right where it was located and I ended up vomiting 4 times. Since then, I have been constantly nauseas and almost on the verge of vomiting. I can't really eat without adding more discomfort. What do I do?
