I am a CAD patient, one stent, taking Coreg and aspirin. I read that many surgeons are averse to operations on patients taking blood thinners. I'm 86. Is it worth it? Can I not get a truss and take a lot of care and just manage it for whatever time i have left?
Hello and hope you are doing well.
Surgery is the only treatment and cure for inguinal hernias. Truss or corset are not recommended for treating hernias and sometimes can do more harm than good. Hernia needs to be surgically repaired to prevent complications like strangulation.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
