Another ingrown hair vs. herpes question

The last  time I had sex was 14 days ago with a man whose HSV-2 status I am not certain (he says he’s never had an outbreak, but he also didn’t realize that you can be an asymptomatic carrier of the virus). Activity included protected “doggy style” sex lasting no more than 8 minutes and unprotected oral sex  (both ways). I am HSV-1 positive (oral) and haven’t had a cold sore outbreak in 13 years;  *he knows this and was open to oral sex without a condom.*
I just went to the bathroom and notice what I believe may have been an ingrown hair in my bikini line area (I have wavy hair and am prone to these). It caught my attention because it was bleeding — there was no itchiness or tingly feeling or even pain. I squeezed it, and blood and a light, cloudy fluid came out. I had shaved this area the night before I last had sex.

My vagina HAS been feeling a bit irritated, but yeast infection medications and coconut oil  have taken it away. I’ve looked at a bunch of pictures comparing ingrown hairs and herpes to no avail. Should I get tested for HSV-2?
