Hsv protected sex risk

Hello there, I'm a male and a month ago I had protected vaginal sex which was brief and a few weeks later I developed an inflammation above my lip, which I couldn't tell if it was a sore or a pimple. It did have a whitehead which ended up popping and definitely wasn't clear fluid as I've seen in some cold sore pictures. I was therefore anxious during this time wondering if I had contracted hsv1 from a previous encounter 4 months ago. A couple days ago I started to feel some soreness while showering in my lower groin area, close to my anus. I went in for some blood tests that I'm waiting on, but wondering if somehow I got exposed to hsv2 during last months encounter as I was in a seated position on a chair with legs spread during sex. There is some discomfort, but from what I can tell but no dry lesion that I can see, a small reddish bump. No sharp pain, Feels similar to a minor hemorrhoid, only it's not, just in the vicinity. Should I be concerned? All along, I've not had any other visible symptoms. Not sure if this is some kind of reaction with all the anxiety/nervousness from the past few days. And some more now while I wait for the test results. Thanks...

Thanks.. My western blot came back negative for hsv1 and 2 with last exposure just over 30 days. Should I plan for another one in the future? I read WB is most effective at a higher number of days.

The western blot is most effective at around 16 weeks but I wouldn't retest unless you really need the confirmation of your negative testing so far.

No. I wouldn't be concerned at all. In fact it doesn't even warrant testing

None of this sounds like hsv so no. I wouldn't be concerned this is herpes related at all

Edit: its not a bump, just some sensitivity/reddishness in the lining between the scrotum and anus..
